Who do I go to if I need help with my scout's advancement? The Advancement Chair is Crystal Castaner. She will be able to help you with basic questions and point you in the direction of others who can help you with more specific questions.
How do I find out how much money my scout has raised or owes? The Treasurer is Kirsten Long. She will be able to tell you what your Scouts balance is and what upcoming payments you may need to make on behalf of your Scout.
What if my scout is having trouble with another scout? In a perfect world the Scouts would be able to work it out on their own. If that is not the case and your Scout continues to have trouble these are the steps they should take. Their first step is to go to their Patrol Leader and ask for help solving the problem. If that doesn't work, the Scout can then take their problem to the Troop Guide, Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) or Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL). The next step would be to go to either the Scoutmaster (SM) or any Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM).
How can I get involved with the troop? You are more than welcome to join the Troop Committee. We are always looking for adults who want to help support Scouts through doing the administrative/behind the scenes work. If you would like to play a more hands-on role you can reach out to our Scoutmaster, Eric Gillins, about becoming an Merit Badge Counselor or Assistant Scoutmaster.
